About Us

Start up information

The company Heliometer was funded in 2007 by the Ministry of Business and Technology (EXIST-SEED). Further on, it was supported by the Endowed Chair of Entrepreneurship and the related VentureLab e.V. at the University of Oldenburg.

Research and development

The company Heliometer works together with the physical research group for Energy Meteorology at the University of Oldenburg. Heliometer is also related to the virtual Institute of Energy Meteorology.
The basic know-how has been generated in different Europaen research projects, such as:

PVSAT-1, PVSAT-2
